Shari Ienco

People have always been at the heart of what I do.

I’ve been working since I was 13 years old, starting in retail and hospitality before moving into management, employment services and eventually specialist recruitment. Every role has taught me something different, but the common thread has always been people. Building relationships, communicating openly and helping others achieve their goals is what I’ve always enjoyed most.

Today, healthcare recruitment is my specialty, but my experience extends well beyond one industry. I’ve recruited healthcare professionals across Australia, including General Practitioners, Medical Specialists, Allied Health professionals, Nurses and Mental Health practitioners, as well as corporate, clinical governance and workforce planning roles. Long before I became a recruiter, I was already hiring people, interviewing candidates and building teams in retail and hospitality management, so recruitment has been part of my career for many years.

Before recruitment, I worked in employment services where advocacy was a big part of my role. Supporting people through career decisions and helping them find opportunities that genuinely suited them is something I loved, and it’s still one of the biggest reasons I enjoy recruitment today.

Over the years I’ve been fortunate to travel around Australia for work, opening new hospitality venues, training and developing teams, attending industry events, visiting client sites and meeting candidates in the workplaces where they’ll make a difference. Those experiences have shown me that every business is different, and there is never a one size fits all approach to recruitment.

Cass and I created Centr. Talent Co because we wanted to offer something different. After working in and alongside larger agencies and organisations, we knew there was room for a more personal, honest approach. We believe recruitment should be built on clear communication, genuine relationships and doing what is right for both our clients and candidates. No unnecessary corporate jargon, just practical support, honest advice and a commitment to delivering a great experience.

I’m South Australian born and raised and now call Port Noarlunga South home. I love supporting local businesses and getting out to explore our beautiful state. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me in the garden, walking my dog Ed, spending time with family and friends, or at a live music gig.

For me, recruitment has never just been about filling jobs. It’s about building trust, creating opportunities and helping people and businesses find the right fit so they can grow together.

Cass Milligan

I’m a recruitment and talent acquisition specialist with over a decade of experience helping organisations solve one of their biggest business challenges: finding and retaining great people. My career has spanned healthcare, government, defence, community services, professional services, and small to medium businesses, giving me a deep understanding of both large-scale workforce challenges and the realities of growing a business.

Throughout my career, I’ve recruited across an incredibly diverse range of roles, from executive and senior leadership appointments through to healthcare professionals, allied health and nursing roles, HR and talent specialists, finance and payroll professionals, project and program teams, administration and customer service professionals, trades and technical positions, and high-volume operational workforces. Working across skills-short and highly competitive markets has taught me that successful recruitment is never about filling vacancies. It’s about understanding people, business goals, and building sustainable teams.

I founded Centr Talent Co because I saw too many businesses treating recruitment as a transaction rather than a strategic investment. Small and growing businesses often don’t have access to the market insights, talent expertise, and recruitment strategies that larger organisations can afford, yet hiring the right people is often the single biggest factor in their success.

Today, I partner with founders and business leaders to deliver a more strategic, human approach to recruitment. Combining market intelligence, data-driven insights, employer branding, and practical hiring solutions, I help businesses make confident hiring decisions and build teams that genuinely move their organisations forward. My passion lies in creating meaningful connections, simplifying the complexities of hiring, and proving that great recruitment can transform businesses from the inside out.
